How we write and check guides
Every guide on Rozile follows the same rules, so you can judge how far to rely on it.
Figures come from official sources
Pay points, tax thresholds, National Insurance rates, pension contribution tiers, statutory pay and dates are taken from the body that sets them: HMRC, NHS Employers, the Department for Education, the NJC, the pension scheme administrators, ACAS and gov.uk. Each guide lists the pages it relied on. Where a figure has not been published, for example a pay award still under negotiation, the guide says so and does not guess.
No invented people or experiences
Guides do not contain made-up case studies, quotes or testimonials. Worked examples are labelled as hypothetical and use the published rates.
Reviews and updates
Each guide shows the date it was last updated. Figures were last checked against their sources on 2026-10-16. When the tax year changes or a pay award is confirmed, the affected guides and the calculator are updated.
Information, not advice
Guides explain how the rules work in general. They are not legal, tax or financial advice for your situation. For a dispute at work, ACAS, your union or your employer's HR team can help; for a tax problem, HMRC.
Reporting a mistake
If you spot an error, email hello@rozile.co.uk with the page address and what is wrong. Corrections are made as soon as they are checked.
