The Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to add to our team of Cover Supervisors working across the Academy. No two days will be the same as you will work with a variety of different years groups and across a range of subjects delivering cover lessons to students. This is a hugely rewarding role.

The primary purpose of the role is to support and supervise students in whole-class groups, providing them with an effective learning environment during short term teacher absences. We would welcome applications from both experienced candidates and those who may be beginning their journey in education. The role could be a good first step for an ECT who wishes to gain confidence and knowledge in the classroom before commencing their first teaching job.

If you are passionate about supporting students to maximise their achievements we would be very pleased to hear from you.

If you wish to find our more or arrange to visit the academy please contact JTopham@johnportspencer.org.uk to arrange a visit or find out more.

Early application is strongly encouraged as we reserve the right to interview and close the advert ahead of the closing date.
