Do you believe every child deserves an exceptional education, no matter their starting point? Are you inspired by the opportunity to transform lives, lead with purpose and build a school where every child flourishes?

If so, we would love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to become the next Headteacher of The Bishop's Church of England Primary Academy, a vibrant, inclusive and ambitious school where children are at the heart of every decision.

Located in the historic town of Thetford, The Bishop's is one of the largest primary schools in our Trust, serving a community with higher-than-average levels of disadvantage. Our children deserve the very best, and our staff are relentless in their commitment to helping every pupil succeed.

The school has undergone significant improvement in recent years. Strong leadership, a dedicated staff team and the support of the Trust have secured improved outcomes for children and positive external recognition. However, our journey does not stop here. We are looking for an exceptional leader who shares our ambition to build on this success and create even greater opportunities for every child.

As Headteacher, you will join a highly committed team of professionals across the Trust and continue to benefit from the additional expertise and investment provided through our RISE improvement programme. You will have the opportunity to shape the next chapter of the school's story, ensuring every child receives an outstanding education, develops a lifelong love of learning and leaves The Bishop's ready to thrive in the next stage of their education and beyond.

We are seeking an inspirational, values-led leader who will:

• Champion every child and ensure they achieve their full potential.
• Inspire and develop a talented, committed staff team.
• Lead with vision, compassion and determination.
• Secure consistently high-quality teaching and an ambitious curriculum.
• Nurture a culture where children, families and staff feel valued, supported and proud to belong.
• Uphold and strengthen the Christian vision and values that make The Bishop's such a special place to learn and work.

If you are passionate about making a lasting difference to children's lives and want to lead a school with enormous potential, within a Trust that values collaboration, professional growth and moral purpose, we would be delighted to hear from you.

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. To arrange a visit, please contact the school office, office@bishop.norfolk.sch.uk on 01842 754902, or speak directly with Heather Madsen, Interim Headteacher, who would be delighted to welcome you to The Bishop's Church of England Primary Academy.
